Wii u blew my mind away.

I was abit unsure with the controller. But then they showed off the third party games. And Ohh my god, Aliens Colonial Marines on Wii! Tekken! Batman Arkham City, Assasin creed. And Smash Bros on it! (But no gameplay or trailer for that one)

Now this is a Nintendo Console i've been waiting for. HD visuals good third party support + Nintendo First party games = AWESOME!!!!!

Teah I must say I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, I'm sure the controller will grow on me and I'm looking forward to see what devs do with this. That tech demo with the bird looked really good.

Yeah I can't wait... We skipped the Wii, and only had a gamecube for a little while.. So we have a lot of back catelog to play when we get a WiiU.. (of course some games I will still prefer to play on my pc, but man They have already announced a lot of very intriguing games 3rd party and all)

Making me feel almost the way I did back when the Nintendo 64 came out! I remember being really excited!

The fact that they didn't have 1 single screen or trailer from a legit game bothers me. SSB shouldn't even count as they just mention that they had plans of making it

No, they released very little info on the actual console during the press conference.. The controller is actually a controller, Even the audio and video is streamed to the controller wirelessly from the actual console. (without Latency issues)

It's like Nintendo has finally caught up to Microsoft and Sony in the graphics and software department and now everyone is so amped up, LOL, good stuff.

i still wanna know about their online service, is it still Friend Codes, or are they finally making it like X360 and PS3 online service, you add the person, then the person has the choice to add you without you both needing each other's FCs

im not all that happy with it yet. i need to see the system specs. if the graphics are only as good as the 360 and ps3, then it'll be completely left in the dust during the next generation with ps4 and the like. this would once again leave the hardcores hanging with the wii u

the specs need to be beastly so it can play current gen games at 1080p making them the definitive versions and still be able to play ps4 xbox3 level games without much graphical reduction
