I think it'll hover around $350 to $380(Weird price for a Nintendo console, I know. lol), I hope the games are still $50 but I know that probably won't happen...My poor wallet...:cry:
yup, but Nintendo will do anything in their power to knock it down so the price is closer to ps3/360. Maybe a bit unfair considering how much consoles launched for last gen
depends on whats in the box. how powerful will the console be? will they throw a wiimote and nunchuck in also to try and ensure devs also support that? will there be a game? assuming its just a bit more powerful than a 360/PS3 and comes with a pack in game like wii sports (though not wii sports obhiously.....just something to show off th system) then 300. however if its more powerful than expected then that will change of course. or if they decide to make a few upgrades to the controller (capacitive screen for example) then that will change also.

While the 3DS price drop effects my original idea, this is how I thought it would go
GBA-$100 and GCN $200
DS-$150, Wii $250
3DS-$250, Wii U-$350
Every console has ended up being roughly $100 more than that generation's handheld's ORIGINAL price.
A better question is what can Nintendo squeeze into that package hardware wise. Are we going to get a measly amount of RAM on par with current consoles, or are they going to at least up to say 1-2GB system and 512MB Video?
I'm thinking $350 is a lock, especially if HD twins stay $300 as long as they can.
Those controllers however I'd put at over $100. Anyone who gets a WiiU keep it away from kids.

I sincerely doubt Nintendo would make a controller that costs more than $10-$20 to make, so the controller is going to be at max $50-$60
It's going to work out that way, they've already started back peddling on only one controller with the system at a time.
That screen really isn't as expensive as people think, and it's likely to be 480x320 or something like that. I mean, the 3DS in 2011 has a 320x240 and 400x240 screen. In 2011! Nintendo will make this more than affordable.
