if you have an unauthorized system modification for your Wii the new update can possibly "brick" your Wii...
The new features are great but make sure if you're a modder that you don't update your Wii right now

i wish by the next update that for people who have modded their wiis for it to BRICK!Tjeremiah1988I thought this update was supposed to do that, yet I've read it did not exactly do that. Of course, mentioning this to those with MOD chips keeps them from getting the update. I wouldn't even advertise that. Then again, I wonder just how it works, I know MS tried kicking people off from live who had heir systems modified, yet I read people had a work-around.
Yes as a matter of fact I do I have a lot

modded is what again?xXRunningRiotXxIllegally putting a MOD chip that allows people to play pirated games, therefor not supporting the makers of said games. Sad really, since if game developers get the money then they make better games.

k thanks i still dont get it but thx anyway
No one including nintendo should be able to tell you what you do with your wii. You purchased it so it belongs to you. justinblair2That's true, and no one said Nintendo was forcing the update on anyone. Also, it's not that having a MOD chip is illegal, but what most people do with it, still there is no reason why Nintendo should support their use. See, no one is forcing anything on anyone.
