hi guys do we need hdtv for wii like for ps3 theres a big difference between sd and hd i dont got hdtv so would it be a matter for me cause i m going to buy wii

The Wii in fact doesn't even support HD. It does have progressive scan, so there is some benefit to running it on a HDTV, but not to the same degree as with the PS3 or 360.

Well actually the Wii isn't HD compatible. So you don't need a HDtv to utilize the Wii.

No, it won't make that much of a difference... in general, 60fps games look a little bit better in progressive scan while 30fps games look a little worse.

Yeah, GS won't even allow me to quote messages. I get the error: "You cannot quote a message from a different topic!"

On-topic, like others have said, you don't need an HDTV for the wii. The only thing you'd be missing is 16:9 support, but some games don't even have that option.

Oddly, I have an HDTV and only the Wii as my current-gen system. It's great to have, though I'm hardly a graphics junkie to care.
