If we stop buying mini-game based games which all seem to have the "pump the minecart to win" and start buying more action games, then we will get from it some hardcore games like LOZ:TP but from other people and different series. Only now we're getting cheap rip-offs of old games (prince of persia for Wii is almost exactly identical to the GC 2005 one) and re-do's of party games and control sensory (cooking mama)

I think all developers should look at this here forum and cry "time to think about the games and not just see how much sensory features we can crame into it".

The world isn't made of hardcore gamers, why do you want to take off the fun from most gamers?

I know but now most of the party games are repeating themselves. I love party games too but I think there is now a lack of action/sport/shooters/RPG's etc.

The only party game I purchased was Wario Ware. I think there's a market for Party Games, but it's a niche one. Perhaps a big Niche (oxymoron, oy), but given new games coming out (most of which are NOT party) that niche's appetite has been pretty much sated.

is the prince of persia game for the Wii worth getting if, the person has never played a Prince of Persia game ever on any console?
