Earlier today I bought a 2000 wii points card, came home, booted up the wii and tried accessing the Shopping Channel, took about 2 minutes to finally come up with an error, which was odd, considering it had worked fine up to this point.

Fiddled around with the settings to see what was the problem, couldn't find anything wrong. Went on the internet, and i've tried a ton of solutions to fixing this, from changing the channel to giving it wep security, and various other solutions - None of which have worked so far. I wanted to make sure if it was just my router, so I pulled out my PSP, turned it on, and got on the internet on it as easy as possible. I just can't understand whats the problem.

Since i've had the Wii, the router has worked flawlessly up until now. It's a D-Link WBR-1310. I purchased the wii a few weeks ago, but i've been able to connect to the internet as easily as possible up until this moment. I've been trying to fix the problem for over 2 hours now, but no dice.

The only thing i've done to the router before it stopped working was unplug it for about 10 minutes, because I had to move the entire computer\all the components\etc over to a newly bought desk. Would unplugging it for a extended period of time cause this to happen? Because it works on my Nintendo DS and PSP perfectly, just no my wii.

Please, any solutions, or tips, or anything would be EXTREMELY appreciated. Thank you.

Clear the settings in the Wii and unplug it

Put in the settings again and give it a shot

If that doesn't work you're going to have to give Nintendo a ring

Thank you for the link and the post, but i've gone to this numerous times trying to fix the router. If you don't mind, could you please tell me exactly what you changed? I've attempted to change various options, channels, etc. but it never works.

Thanks.
