Hey guys. I've taken some time away from my Wii recently, enough to work on my main hobby - computer graphics. I decided to model, of all things, my Wii! Here is a render of the work in progress. I haven't textured it yet, so there aren't any logos, or button labels, just the base plastic colors. I'm still modeling the Nunchuck, and Classic Controller, then I will apply all the logo decals and such.

That's really good, if you hadn't told me it was done by computer i probably could have passed it as a photo, people are ignorant like that

I just insulted myself didn't i?

What program is that? It looks like it's coming along good but some of your shadows seem a bit thick, just to add some constructive criticism.

No, you didn't insult yourself at all. I take it as a complement on my end - and yes, it is a computer model:

Yea, I actually started this project as a way to have a nice model to work on my poor lighting and rendering skills. Now that im done modeling most of it, I will work on making the highlights and shadows fall off the objects like I want. You can see that the A button on the Wii mote is so bright with reflected light, that you can't even make its shape out now. I am going to work on things like that.

Nice work dude. I actually do 3D myself but with 3D Max. The models r very good and in my opinion is the hardest part of 3D. I love lighting and texturing as i find it the easiest. Anyway keep up the good work!
