Like to $210? This Xmas season? , Wii would want a price drop...

You sell everything you can make, and people still clamor for more at the price you already have. Why on earth would they lower the price? So they could make less money on purpose? You won't see a price drop until sales slow down considerably.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price, with the way they're selling.LOLhahaDEAD
probably not likely though. I think 250 is athe sweet spot.

Most retailers in Canada raised the price. In Canada, it was supposed to be 280$ now it's 290$.
They could lower it to $175 now if they wanted and could still make money. Don't expect a price drop until sales slow down. At least until they stop selling out.nintendofreak_2
Last I checked, the production cost of the Wii is just over 200USD.

It started of at around $180 I believe. It costs $250 so retailers can get some money of it.i thought the wii price in my walmart was $ 250Like to $210? This Xmas season? , Wii would want a price drop...

Current price is fine. It would also not make any sense what so ever for them to drop the price. It's selling too quickly. If it was like the ps3 in sales then ok price drop i could see but at the rate it's going they won't be dropping the price.
If you were nintendo would you? You're already making a good amount of money on each console.. it's selling as fast as you can make it why would you then go hey we're making too much lets lower the price lol.

you people asking for price drops are retarded. Wii is the fastest selling console of all time and they cant keep them on the shelves for probably close to a year after it was released.. give me one good solid reason why Nintendo would want to drop the price.
And for god's sake, the next person to say Wii instead of We and think they're clever is getting a punch in the neck.
[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"]Wii Sports was a free pack in.and cause its bundleed with wii sports.

If you think about it, the game's not really free. Since in Japan, where Wii Sports is sold seperately, the Wii is actually cheaper.
