wow $20 for a zapper is quite expensive but it wud be nice if it came with some game... i like the idea... but if i invite a friend over ill need yet another zapper...MangoLlamas
Yeah it does come with a game but I'm pretty sure it will be sold seperate as well for a lower price.
I pretty much hate the idea of the Wii zapper. The remote and nunchuck work perfectly fine and putting them together limits what you can do. You can no longer have seperate motion controls for the remote and nunchuck, and you can no longer rest the hand holding the remote on your knee, meaning that long game playing sessions (RE:UC was supposed to be a long game I thought) are gonna be a pain in the ass. And what exactly is the nunchuck adding to the mix? Some buttons? They could have had the zapper connect directly to the remote through the bottom and then we could have at least had a proper trigger and something that looked more like a gun. I thought the whole point of a modular system for the controller was to allow more than just the nunchuck or classic controller to connect with the remote?actionquake
yeah, they really need a peripheral that connects directly to the remote like a gun grip, to make it like a pistol, and leave the nunchuk free for other stuff.
I've got the "Wii Sharpshooter" peripheral from Joytech and it's quite good IMO. I've only really used it for RE4 Wiimake but it adds something to the realism holding the shape of gun, and it makes the reloading more fun too; you just do and Arnie style shotgun reloading motion while holding B. The fact that you hold it with both hands means you can be even more steady/accurate too.
[QUOTE="JAREDJR"]It will be coming with a game and I'm sure Nintendo would look about improving their own peripherals before releasing them. But then again, maybe they won't , who knows.Tuky06
It will come with software adapted to it. Not a game.
It will be packed in with a came. By itself, it'll cost $20.00.
It can be worth it with the game, depending on how much of a game it is (if it's something awful like WiiPlay, then it's not worth it). Buying it by itself is pretty much a rip-off: it's not a controller- it's not really anything.
Just a holster for holding your controller/nunchuk together. Nothing you can't do already just by holding them up to your face.
Id galdly pay $20 for the zapper, and maybe the $50 combo if it comes with a Half-decent looking game.
it makes a Game more Fun, because it feels more like your in the game.
If you dont like, dont buy it, there are plent who will gladly pay $20 or more for this add-on.

I thought you said we shoudn't judge it before it comes out? If so, how do you know that it makes a game more fun, or that it makes you feel like "your in the game"?
i upgrade my wii blaster by adding a wooden pice from a broomstick

Well I've got the Joytech "Sharpshooter" and it definitely adds a sense of realism while playing RE4 Wiimake IMO. http://www.joytech.net/1/products/wii/12/131/Sharp-Shooter.htm
