How bad is the zapper with an HD LCD i have read and heard it can be off a little bit, just want some first hand advice on this issue, and is the zapper even worth it for shooting games?

THanks

The Wii zapper doesn't change how the remote points, it's just a shell, and playing on an HD LCD TV would be the same as playing on a regular one in regards to the pointer. If by what you mean by "off" is decentered or misaligned, then you can fix that by centering the sensor bar on the TV or adjusting the location of the sensor bar in the Wii settings. When pointing straight at a TV with the Wii Remote, the pointer is usually lower or higher than you are pointing, depending on the location of your sensor bar, this is normal and the only solution would be to move further back which would result in making it look like it's aligned, or to move the sensor bar in the middle of the TV- but that's obviously not a practical sollution. Hope that helps.
