[QUOTE="decepticondevil"] Warm is fine... HOT is not. If you think you may be running too hot, there are cooling fan attachments you can buy that run off of the USB ports and run while the Wii is off. Or, you know, just turn off WC24. Mine runs pretty warm... definitely thinking about getting the fan add-on just to be safe. Some people here will tell you otherwise, but there HAVE been cases of damage due to overheating on the Wii. Of course, if this happens Nintendo will repair it free of charge, but you have to send the console in for a couple weeks.
I usually have whatever game I've been playing in the console, but I have noticed that if no game is in it, it makes some pretty loud noises when turning off/on. This is normal, don't sweat it.
Yellow light means Wiiconnect24 is on. Red means full standby (or "off") green is on.

so the fan only runs when the Wii is off? Jw because i had a fan for my 360, and not only was it loud, but it seemed like it took more power to power the fan, which caused more heat.
To be honest, I'm not 100% positive if it also runs while the console is on, but I would assume it does. I heard there were some major problems with the fans made for the 360 causing damage to the console, but from what I have read on the Wii coolers, there haven't been any reports of any of them doing so. There's a few on the market right now, ranging from a simple unit that plugs into the back of the Wii to a cooling base that replaces the vertical stand and not only cools the Wii but also lights up in a blue glow similar to the light on the front of the Wii.
As far as noise, I've read that the Intec one is a bit noisy, but not too obnoxious.
I'm kind of waiting for this one to come out; http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802630
