Well, is there any? I think I heard Pokemon has some kind of connectivity, but I'm really not interested in Pokemon. Are there any other games that have this feature? Does anyone know of any plans for it? I heard something about a DS demo thing coming to Wii, was that an official thing, or just a rumor/wish list thing?

I just got a DS last week and for some reason I thought it was going to be able to interact with my Wii, and I'm pretty disappointed that it doesn't.

No, no other games have it, at least that I know for now. Also, there is a Wii chanel for you to download DS demo

download the NINTENDO CHANNEL onto your Wii....go to that channel and click on the bottom bar (DS DOWNLOAD DEMO SERVOCE) choose which game youd like to try out and it will transmit the demo onto any DS nearby. I have tried several times and works well. its a great feature for Wii/DS owners.

I've got to agree. Nintendo has been pretty much ignoring 'connectivity' this gen. Which is a shame, because I liked it so much with GBA/GC.

However, I got even more upset when I read this:

Viva Pinata almost had DS/360 connectivity

When rival companies are working on something for your console that you're not, it looks pretty bad...

The upcoming Castlevania game will have some sort of connectivity, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl also have connectivity with Pokemon Battle Revolution. You can also use the DS as a controller for games like My Word Coach, My French Coach and My Spanish Coach. Your DS and Wii can also synch up to play DS demos from the Wii's Nintendo Channel.

Exactly, there´s nothing more, which is a shame because you have many possibilities with this. On Gamecube I used the GCN/GBA cable for final fantasy, harry potter 3 and quidditch, animal crossing, zelda four swords and as tingle tuner in wind waker. This was very cool, I hope that Nintendo uses the connectivity for their future games.

Geometry Wars Galaxies has connectivity too. You can download a working version to the DS when you buy the Wii version and if you have both you can unlock another galaxy.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'll have to check the Wii demo thing again... I went on that channel after I got my DS and only saw videos, couldn't find any demos or anything. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right place.

Hopefully they will work on implementing something relatively soon. They have two of the most popular gaming systems in the world, and to not have them working together is a shame.... especially when they did it with the GBA/GC.

It took a really long time for any company to get any connection with the current handheld and the current system. Most companies will wait a long time to make sure enough people have a ds and a wii to be able to play the game. Its a marketing strategy.
