well it has bluetooth (or was it something else? sorry if wrong). motion sensing, a speaker, light reading thing, speedometer or something, tilt sensor. very complicated controller. nunchuck also has a few of those. i dont see why 360 controllers WIRED should cost 40. wired should still be 25-30 at most.
when you think about the $60 combo, it sounds ridiculous, but the wiimote by itself is ok imo. maybe lower the nunchuck price or make bundles.ZumaJones07
it should be bundeled at fifty. it'd make the 360 controllers look rediculous :P but the classic should only be 10. it doesnt have any motion or anything and requires the wii mote :(

i completely agree w/ u my friends are always tellin me to get another controller so we can play together and im always like heck no its too expensive and they dont believe me...its $40 for the remote and $20 for the nunchuck right? yah way too pricey nintendo has gone off the deep end w/ this one...barking mad raving...im done
Ok so they're a little overpriced but not by much. A wii remote should cost like $30.00 and the price 4 the nunchuck is fine by me.
They're priced the way thay are because nintendo can. Odviously they could sell them togetherin a package4 like $20.00 and still make money, but if they can get more money out of you they will. Just like wii games. They could sell those 4 like $20.00, but they don't!
How is it overpriced when both the wii remote and nunchuk together is only $10 more than a wireless PS3 or 360 controller? That extra $10 goes towards the extra features that the Wii controls have.
Well in Canada.. Its $50 for the Wii Remote, and it's $30 for the Nunchuck. VC controller is $25. So i've spent $210 on controllers. OWCH. But I did get Wii play that came with a controller, so thats a bonus.
nah those are some tough controllers...my second one has been through a moron who decided to not put on the wii strap and threw it to the ground (basement so its concrete) and someone also hit it on the ceiling when it was in the attic because the ceiling was slightly slanted down. It still works great so I'd say worth every bit of the money...that and they are some complicated controllers.
