This problem seems to happen occasionally and im just thinking it might be apart of the control design. My girl was playing cooking momma and the control turned off during the middle of a challenge. It can turn right back on and it will work but it is just annoying. I thought it might be that pressing the 1 or 2 button might be the cause since it happened before when I was playingDBZ but im not sure I can make it do it again. Anyone might know the cause for it?

Maybe it's broken, it's only supposed to turn itself off if you set it down for a few minutes.

If you have the NYCO charge station it could of been a bad battery. I got the charge station as a bday gift and only has worked the whole time. At first they both did but then one stopped charging. You can buy replacements online I bought one at gamestop for $10 and it came with another backing for the wiimote. But the same thing happened to my wiimote and it was totally battery related.
