WiiWare is (not) pretty bad

...and I will tell you why. It is pretty GOOD for Nintendo. They want to sell a lot of games and extra content to get a lot of money. And it looks like they are conquering what they want. But it is pretty BAD for us, gamers. Tell me one title that is worth getting. Final Fantasy may be your choice, but no, there are a lot of better titles available out there. Lostwinds, like Gamespot said, had a lot of potential, but the whole thing wasnt good enough. Dr. Mario is an interesting title, but come on, that is not what we want.

You may not agree with my opinion. But dont go yelling at me because of that. Because it is MY opinion. And the only thing I want is to know yours.

Lostwinds and Final Fantasy are both spectacular games, and just about everything on WiiWare is atleast worth looking at(save maybe 3 of the games).

I agree the games are really not worth the money. And you can by a game just like doctor mario on the VC for 5 dollars less.

Not in America and not online and not with Virus Buster but you make a good point

You can get the same exact thing except missing most of it's parts in a region that's not North America on the Virtual Console right now for 5 dollars.

Example: Dr. Mario has been on; NES, Game boy,Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advaced (3 diffrent times) and Nintendo 64. (And im sure I missed afew)

No I actually have very low expectations, thats why I haven't even down loaded Wii Ware yet in the first place. Because I don't think that I should spend 10 bucks on "games that max out at 43 MB". But thats only my opinion.However I do think that if you have never had the chance to play Dr. Mario than it is worth those 10 dollars.

I actually agree with the TC. Wiiware is a great service but the games that are on it aren't that great. Lost Winds is a fun game, but let's face it... After playing trough it, I felt ripped off. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles longnamehere was fun for a while, but after like one or two hours the game just got repetitive.

Developers shouldn't concentrate on making games with great 3D graphics -- just like Final Fantasy and Lost Winds -- I mean, they only have 45 mb's of space. Instead they should make games that are longer and better. How does a 2D Metroid sound? 2D Castlevania or a 2D RPG game that could be pushing 20 hours? Now i know that the lenght of a game isn't important. In fact, I usually dislike games that are over 20 hours long, but less than two and a half hours (the time it took me to beat Lost Winds) is just too short for that type of a game.

I would love to see more 2D games on Wiiware, and not just puzzle games.

Exactly, i would love a 2D platformer (i think there is one in development) , a 2D rpg and even a strategy game, but wiiware has a decent lineup right now, maybe because i love Dr.Mario :P
