This game has plenty of bad reviews, yet many owners seem to like it. What do you like or hate about the game? Is it just Sonic or Wii fans trying to like the game a little too much despite it being bad, or do you generally feel its a decent game?
The people who hate it are probably those who've played 2D Sonic games and who yearn to see him return to that on consoles. Those who like it, probably have never played 2D Sonic games on a console before. It's not a bout Wii fans or anything. It's more like either you like 3D Sonic games or you don't.

not really... i played the old ones when i was little and i like 3d sonic games untill heroes came out then sonic went downhill

I loved the graphics, but absolutely hate the controls. They are sloppy, imprecise and annoying (tilt remote backward to go back? WTH!). I especially hate "shaking the controller to attack-boost"; just use a freaking button! At least Tony Hawk DJ gave us the option on that. I also hated the godawful music in that game; it's easily the worst music of all the Sonic games. I have a lot of hate now for this game, and this was a game I've been looking forward to since last years E3. BTW, I rented the game last weekend, so at least I'm not out $50 for this junk. Oh, and I liked Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, so this isn't a 2D > 3D argument here.

I dunno, i loved the 2d sonics as a kid, but when it went 3d i was so dissapointed, to think it could b done so well. allthough ive just got secret rings so i will post wether i like it or not soon

No, Sonic started downhill with Sonic Adventure. it got Good scores, but every game sence has been scoring lower than the last one, with sonic next tanking at 4.0. S:aTSR is starting Back up the scale.
But scores or one thing. Like Shadow got bad reviews, but i love it, and i enjoy hero's despite low scores.
