Hey guys,
I am planning to go digital with my Nintendo Switch and 32GB doesn't seem enough
Will 128GB Micro-SDHC card be good for it? let me know
That's going to last you a while. Depends on how many games you want to have installed anyway. I uninstall the ones I really won't play anymore and that saves space. More than 10 games on your homescreen to play without having to download, is probably overkill already.
What I ended up doing was going half digital so that I didn't need to immediately buy an SD card on top of the system itself.
And surprisingly the on-board memory has been enough for me so far... Now I will wait until the moment that the limited space becomes annoying (it'll be cheaper by then).
Don't forget that you can delete ganes but save all the personal data meaning you can just start where you left off when you deleted the game. So once youre done playing a game you can just free some space.

that is right. after you finish a game that you don't want to play ever or for a long time. then you can just delete the game but keep the save file in case you ever want to continue or play it again.
i hope nintendo introduce cloud saving next year when they launch their online service so we dont have to worry about our switch breaking and losing our saves.
To play devil's advocate, I'd advise against going digital with a Nintendo console. Nintendo games almost always maintain their value over time.

To also play devil's advocate: The eShop prices are extremely overpriced. Here in Switzerland a sealed copy of a Switch game is 10 bucks cheapter than the digital version in the eShop. You can get around that by having several accounts in different regions. I save up to 30 bucks A GAME by just using a different region. WTF Nintendo?
To the TC: As always it depends on how many games you buy and how much you want to keep on your system at all time.
I got a 128 GB card, and so far it's fine... but i could see the need to expand in the future, especially if i stick with all digital. If you only download nintendo and/or virtual console titles you should be OK..... but if you want the 3rd party stuff the games are like 20-35 GB... so a couple of those will really cripple your space.

Sounds like Switzerland is like Sweden then. Physical copies are often cheaper than digital. Eshop prices are insane. It's really annoying.
Example: The Binding of Isaac (an older indie title) costs 60 bucks on the eshop. Meanwhile, it's like 10 on Steam.
@Litchie: I don't know anything about the Swedish game market, but in the States, as games age and stores lower the prices, Nintendo's digital prices remain unchanged. That said, Sony and Microsoft often do the same, though they're a little more diligent than Nintendo.
@sonic_spark: Same here if it's at all possible. What I wonder is if most of the really good Wii/Wii U games will be ported to the Switch. I hope Xenoblade Chronicles will at least be ported over.
