Will the 3DS have good DLC support? Like the PSP, PS3, Xbox360? You know, add ons, demos, etc. Just wondering. It would be a great plus.

[QUOTE="Rod90"][QUOTE="Gamingclone"]How do you know?????????????????????????????????????? Because the DSi had it and that was last gen. I was refering to games DLC like songs on GH or extra levels in FFCC my Life as a Darklord. I know it will have downlodable games, but what about downloadable CONTENT for games?yes it will.
riariases
Dead or Alive's devs said they would have constant DLC, for free. (may have been daily, not sure)CyberKlown28It is daily :P http://nintendo3dsblog.com/daily-downloadable-costumes-in-dead-or-alive-dimensions

My Life as a King is much better but yeah we will be getting DLC like that.

Well games such as Animal crossing wild world had DLC didnt it? I assume that as devs become more familar with the system, they should be able to figure out how to make DLC work.

I was always missing the DLC for Animal Crossing. The only thing i've ever managed to get was that pile of leaves in Fall.[QUOTE="Rod90"][QUOTE="riariases"] Because the DSi had it and that was last gen.riariasesI was refering to games DLC like songs on GH or extra levels in FFCC my Life as a Darklord. Maybe, but for My Life as a Darklord you don't need DLC to fully enjoy the game.
Theres no way Nintendos going to do DLC, but will it allow other to? I'm not sure I'm guessing no at least intially
They allow DLC on the Wii already. Why wouldn't they allow it with an even better OS and online store when it comes to the 3DS? There is a reason why the 3DS has 2gb of internal memory and ships with a 2 gb SD card (total of 4 gbs people or a little under when you account for the OS files).Theres no way Nintendos going to do DLC, but will it allow other to? I just wish they would make one where you can actually battle yourself instead of sending troops and monsters.

NeoStar9
They have allowed for a few in game stores, and updates to wiiware games thats it. DLC goes against what Nintendodoes
I just want SSFIV DLC for the Arcade Edition content (Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu, balance tweaks etc.) Yoshinori Ono said it's a possibility if enough people wanted it. Apparently they couldn't include it in from the start due to time constraints (more like they didn't want to take hype away from AE edition coming to consoles).

DSi had DLC via DSiware. I am quite sure the eShop will have a DLC section.

Can you show me some sort of policy where Nintendo has said that? Because if so, they're breaking their own rule all over the place.Any ds can do DLC xD Assuming we want to count things like Picross DS/3D Mario vs donkey ong miniland mayhem, etc. But DLC shouldn't be a big deal, a lot of console players hate it because they think they bought a 90% complete game then pay more for the rest. Then everybody buys the new Call of Duty maps and goes hypocrite with it. and thanks 420 for confirming the daily DLC report for dead or alive =pCyberKlown28Its true. Even Professor Layton games have DLC. I'm suprised LaytonsCat didn't even realize that.

What DSi game has DLC? :SThere is a similar thing. What happens is while you "PLAY AND WALK AROUND" you earn Nintendo Coins or 3DS Coins I dont know the real name. You can cash in those coins you earn for free by walking around on the 3DSWare channel or whatever its called to get game add ons and all that good stuff. So yes FREE add ons. (I wont expect it to be as great as the XBL market place lol but free add ons is fine by me.)
[QUOTE="Gamingclone"]How do you know?????????????????????????????????????? When the 3DS was announced they said that some games will automatically download new content when it has a wifi connection and is in sleep mode, then the green light comes on to say you have new content.yes it will.

I assumed we were talking about paid DLC, like CoD map packs or the like

DLC is DLC. Theres tons of free DLC on Xbox Live Market Place and PSN, but the majority of it has a price.[QUOTE="Zanoh"][QUOTE="Rod90"] I was refering to games DLC like songs on GH or extra levels in FFCC my Life as a Darklord.
