will eu version of mario kart work on DSi

Since the DSi is region locked, will the EU version of Mario Kart DS work on my US DSi?

DS games are region free. DSiWare is region locked. Unless it's DSiWare, it'll work

wait for other comfirmation but I believe any game made before the release of the DSi is not region locked, just games after so mario kart should work. But again just wait for others to confirm
