i live in australia and mario kart is coming out in 4 days, if i want to get it on launch date or a few days afterwards will i need to preorder in case it gets sold out? or do you think there will be enough compies?
It sold out in the uk on pre orders and was (I think) the 8th quickest selling game in history. You couldn't preorder for 11th April after 4th April (and guarentee delivery for the 11th)
So I would make an exception and preorder this, just in case.
The only Wii game I know of that sold out was Guitar Hero, and I chalk that up to the guitar being included. Mario Kart has the steering wheel, but I don't think it's electronic, so they probably can make them fast. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry, but pre-ordering is usually unnecesary.
Maybe it's just the crappy place I live in, but the local EB received copies of Mario Kart only for those who preordered it. All the others are dry for who knows how long. Thankfully I did preorder it and Okami and SSBB too. Nintendo europe sucks, really.
