I was planning to get the Prime series. But I can't find 1 and 2. They are rare to find. I've rented and played the first Prime but never got a chance to buy it. Then I tried 3 and I was thinking if I should find all 3 or wait if Nintendo will release all 3. I doubt though. But they did it with the Master's Quest.

Unless they're itching to lose money I highly doubt it.

The games are all easy to find (Amazon.com has all of them for less then original retail price sealed)

the only circmstances they will release them are under these 2: MP4 is released, and the a olectors edition of the first 3 is launched (a box set with all 3), or the First 2 are released with new wii controls!

but yeah, just go to Gamestop and get them sued, thats ur best bet

I would love to see a collection of just the first two titles, with 16:9, 480p, and MP3:C controls. It'll never happen, but I can dream.

I wish they released Metroid Prime 1 & 2 with Wii controls. Hell with the faster read times and the higher amounts of memory on the Wii, the already short load times of the first 2 could be nearly non-existent.

Metroid Prime 1 can be found at any GameStop for no more than 6 dollars.

It's a great deal, 6 bucks for one of the best games of the last generation.

It really would be nice if Nintendo re-released Metroid Prime 1 & 2 with Wii controls, but you know they probably won't. Those two games are great! All this talk about them makes me want to go home and start new files on them.

I'd rather not have the Prime trilogy re-released with revamped controls. The controls in Prime 3 were smooth and much, much better than the previous control scheme, but with that said, the first two Prime games were based around the previous control scheme, and the new Wii controls wouldn't fit properly with the game design.

Taken from my blog a couple of months back-

Rumor has it that Nintendo is working on some kind of Metroid prime compilation that would see all three Prime games (remember, that's two GameCube titles and last year's Wii adventure) crammed into a single package known as the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Rumor also has it that this set takes Metroid Prime and its sequel and rejiggers the whole experience with Wii motion controls in place of the original sticks 'n buttons motif.

Prime 1 can easily be found, however Prime 2 will require some searching. What city are you located in?

Edit: screwed up the quote tag

I'd play MP1 with wii controls again. MP2 I didn't like at all, so I'd feel inclined to skip that one...even with the better controls.

I actually liked Metroid Prime 1 & 2's control scheme. I don't think adding Wii controls would improve the game that much. Infact, it might help ruin the game because those games were built around the GC control scheme. They are classics. Leave them alone.
