I'd imagine so. No release date for the Wii yet so we will wait to see whether or not its gimped.

A Wii version is not official but most likely coming. Harmonix wanted to explore Rock Band's online in order to make it better, which is why online was left out in RB 1 in the Wii version. So online for RB 2 for Wii is a definite yes (on my end at least). DLC is up for grabs though. Unless Nintendo releases a separate hard drive port for the Wii, DLC imo will probably be stripped again and Harmonix will probably continue the separate track pack volumes sold at retailers.

Good question actually. What I'm guessing is DLC for GH:WT is gonna rely on the Wii's internal memory and SD cards. I have no idea why Harmonix didn't want to go with that. Maybe they needed more room or something.

I'm sure it will have all the features to compete with GH:WT. They know how huge the market is after seeing the sales of GH on Wii. They are not going to disregard it.

The only reason the original RB was so gimped was because they didn't start developing it until after they saw the sales of GH3. They rushed it to the store. RB2: Wii has the same development time as the other version.

I highly doubt it since there is a major lack of a HDD. Downloads for one song pack would basically fill the 512mb of space the Wii has instantly.

The DLC on Rock Band is quite large. While it would definitly be smaller for the Wii, it would still take up a nice amount of space for a large amount of songs.

They can utilize the SD slot. That is what Guitar Hero is doing.
