gmoneydogg
it has a ton more tracks and is getting 6-7 more every couple weeks via dlc! the tracks are also alot more diverse than gh, so theirs a better chance they'll have what u like.
and it did replace gh3 on 360 and ps3, its buy far the best rythm game ever made thanks to harmonix the masters of rythm games!
never. not a chance, everyone thats already played guitar hero (about half the population) has dedicated their souls to never play another game of that sort unless it says 'guitar hero' on it somewhere. in other words, people love guitar hero, and they wouldnt decide to replace the knockoff with guitar hero when theyve already played guitar hero and decided its better.cheese5000
guitar hero is no where near as good as rockband basically every game reviewer on every website, tv show and magazine said so.
and gh3 is a knock off of guitar hero since harmonix didnt even make it.
Awards

Yes. Not because its a better game. I like guitar hero better its more challenging(exluding drums for the sake of a fair agrument) but rock band is more of what wii is about a mulityplayer experince that a family can enjoy without having to go online. Im actually surprised that rockband was not a wii title at launch because it fits the wii more than any of the other systems but thats MTV games' fault webbut
ya pretty much everything you said is true, its a great family and freinds game that really bring ppl together!
i think dlc could have been why we didnt get it, right now it has 47 songs that are dlc and it gets 6-7 every couple weeks!
each song is 20-30 mb in size and the wii just cant handle this big of a dlc library without a hard drive. sad...

i did like the guitar in rock band a lot more than gh3. the note charts seemed alot better and i like how it teels u when u r in a solo and then rates u on it after u complete it. also ending bonus's yeah!
i also like how the rock band guitar has higher frets for solos so u never have to strum, and it also has the effects switch so u can change how the guitar sounds in the game (5 different effects in total).

Objection!
Harmonix developed and created both franchises. Since Rock Band is essentially the same game as Guitar Hero, add drums, bass and vocals and because of that, it can't technically be called a knock off because the gameplay is leaps and bounds what Guitar Hero was. Add a more refined soundtrack, and emphasis on multiplayer, and you'd be hard pressed to find a person who likes guitar hero NOt want to play it. Hell, its GuitarDrumBassVocal Hero, basically! The only reason a peron that likes the GH series would not want to play it is because of the price, but give that person $200 and they'll be alll over it.

exactly as far as im concerned guitar hero ended with 2 because thats when the creators decided that they could do no more for the game and they needed to evolve into what we now know as rockband. an amazing coice on their part! it does everything u could wish a rythmn game could do! i just dont know what more u could ask for! plus its song library is huuuuuuuge and still growing like crazy!
