Will Spirit Tracks be as great as PH?

Well... the game is coming out pretty soon. What does everyone expect from it? Will it be better than PH? Worse? The same? Or do you not know what to expect?

I've been playing a lot of PH recently, and I must say, PH is easily the 3rd or 4th best Zelda adventure out there. Presentation is amazing, the MASSIVE world open to you is undeniably impressive for the DS, the combat is some of the best flowing combat in the Zelda series, or any game series of this type, and the game simply offers tons for you to do. That's not even mentioning the unique controls, stylus uses, dungeons, puzzles, and so on. The only thing this game lacked was a good set of boss battles. From what I've seen, it seems that ST will incorporate all that PH did, but will ALSO have better boss battles (huge magma man thing in that trailer, anyone?). Because of such, I'm expecting this game to improve on PH and replace it as the DS's best game, or at least best action/adventure game.

Thoughts?

I hope that ST will be as good or even better than PH.

It will be better for the simple fact that there's no ocean temple.

Other than that stupid temple you had to do over and over again, I found PH to be perfect.

from what i've seen, it'll be better. hopefully longer, i don't want to pay full price on a game that i can beat in a weekend... and more challenging. while the puzzles were some of the most creative in the series, they were too easy.BrunoBRS

very true ^. some of these puzzles take absolutely no brain power. there are about 1-2 difficult things to figure out in every dungeon :(... and those things are barely difficult.

Most people will like it less, and probably a slightly worse score.

I know I will like it more than Phantom Hourglass, and I loved it.

From what we've seen the game looks great so far. I wont be surprised if I like it even better than PH. The music alone seems much more improved and fitting.

I'll never understand why people keep complaining about that temple. What exactly was so bad about it? I thought it was fun and challenging.

I think it will be better. I think nintendo realized their mistake in making the ocean temple and will not do it again.

ps. The problem with the ocean temple is that you keep having to go through the same level again and again. It seems like the makers of the game got lazy and decided to make you do the whole thing again to get the scroll, instead of designing a new dungeon.

since I didn't like PH I sure hope ST is better but I probly will wait and buy a used copy

If it's anything like any Handheld Zelda it'll be the same only with a different plot.

Seems to me like its going to be about the same, but hopefully its better.

Dosen't look that great IMO, I prefer the good 2D Zelda graphics
