Hey, my vote is for most definitely, but this topic probably will get modded. Just letting you know so no one creates another.
The reasoning behind that is that all SSBB posts are supposed to go in their designated sticky or in my "Unofficial Super Smash Bros. Brawl Guide V2.0" thread. The only reason it should go in mine is because a mod came in and told me that it'll get stickied in a few days when all the SSBB topics slow down, so... STOP. Ah wahn mah stickeh!
Personally I'd say no. Don't attack me just yet. A LOT of people are WAAAAAAYYYYYYY overhyping it and the cows and lems think of it as "Hell, if this game doesn't live up to our expectations (Which are probably outrageously high) the Wii is dead as a console." It is without a doubt going to be amazing but living up to peoples expectations is questionable because some people expect too much. Same goes for Halo 3.Duckman5
Exactly, great game, but everyone expects way too much. Like the Halo series.
i agree. We all got hyped up for LOZ TP, And most of us dont even really like it s much as we expected to like it.. And we all know the SSb veteranswill complainmassively abot this game because it DIDNT live up to their Hype and hesitation and all that.[QUOTE="Duckman5"]Personally I'd say no. I'm just hoping for newer and better attacks. Judging from the site, Fox, Pickachu, and of course Kirby have very similar attacks as they did in Brawl. Who knows if there will be more, but from the pictures, I'm seeing the same thing.stkr
If you're hoping that returning characters will be radically different you're fooling yourself. Outside of the clones, don't expect much more of a change than that which graced the characters between 64 and Melee (as in, just balance tweaking and new attacks to correspond to new attack types, IE Left/Right B in Melee and Final Smash in Brawl). If it was any different folks would be up in a riot because the characters they've perfected their style with is no longer the same character at all.
The new will come with the new roster of characters, which will hopefully be an appreciable amount on par with 64-Melee, not counting clones (clones returning with their own movesets is a new character in my book).
it WILL Exceed all expectations with an average of 9.5 on sites that review the game............it'll be sick as titz

Was it really that serious. I'm not fooling myself about anything. I said I hope that they have new moves. I'd be fooling myself if I was going around saying they did. As I stated, most of the pictures on Brawl's site show the characters using the same attacks as before.
Yes, it will be a superb game.
No, it will not live up to the insane amount of hype constantly built up by children on videogame forums, fansites, etc.

Same goes for Halo 3.Duckman5I've never been Hyped for a game and not been disappointed. So, I kinda look around get pieces of info here and there, but I try not to hype myself. If you know too much it takes all the surprise out of the game. Games I'm iffy toward, like read a bunch of bad reviews, alot of times i enjoy them more, simply because my expectations were so low.
For me all it really has to be is melee with good online and it's the greatest game ever. If it doesn't have online, well crap it's still really close to the best game ever in my book. So far what ive been seeing in updates and other stuff is good enough for me. I really just wanted melee updated and tweaked a little bit, but theyre just giving me so much more. And im pretty sure they're going to have a good online mode too. So I dont know It's all good to me. I just want it to come out soon. But however long it takes to perfect it is fine with me.
