Will the 3DS Release Date be revealed at E3?

I need to know because i have 200 bucks of birthday money in my wallet and that would be perfect for a 3DS. If its being released this fall im buying it. If it's being released next spring im using Christmas money. anyone know?

I seem to remember reading something...somewhere...that it was expected to be released in Japan Q4 2010, and in NA/UK Q1-Q2 2011. Don't quote me on this, might have dreamed that for all I know, but I have seen that somewhere.

In all honestly if one region doesn't get it til spring 2011, its gonna be europe. they always get the shaft when it comes to console/game launches

I have no clue when it's coming out, but considering how long it's been talked about, I'm assuming they are ready to get rolling them out and have a release date set.

I can't imagine they'd allow themselves to miss the 2010 Holiday season worth of sales. Not only should you expect some date/release window, I would bet money that it will be by the end of this year. Especially if they've already said it will be playable on the show floor at E3...SiK99

Ok with the news about animal crossing now as a Launch title. I think it's going to be around Q1-Q2 2011.Why? Well if animal crossing 3DS is coming with it, it HAS to be in 2011 to fit all the time gaps.

nintendo would be crazy if they missed out on the xmas market for the sake of a month or two im betting it will be out for xmas it just makes logical buisness sense plus i garuntee that the 3ds has been in dev for at least 4-5 years just look how old the ds is

What about how Animal Crossing originally released for the N64DD before 2002? Doesn't fit that gap

Nintendo won't delay a handheld for a time gap. They've probably already quickly ported GCN AC to 3DS honesly, with little new features

Dude, they aren't going to delay the handheld to fit some animal crosing release schedule that was purely on coincidence
