will there be another mario kart for the ds

It amazes me how often this question seems to come up. While nobody surfing these forums knows for sure, Bruno brings up a valid point. So far there have been 6 Mario Kart games and they've all been on their own system/hand-held. No system/hand-held has had more than one (unless you include a re-issue on the virtual console).
So while there is always a slim possibility, the answer is most likely no.
actually gba has 2 in one ,
snes and sc tracks lol but i think they need to make a new one for wii and ds

One per generation is enough. And How was the GBA one 2-in-1?

Exactly as he said. It had all the SNES tracks, and the new tracks they made for the GBA version. No, I would be amazed if Nintendo broke with a long standing tradition and released a second Mario Kart for the same platform. DS releases are generally strong so they don't need to prop up the market with another one.
I agree but I think everyone would love to see a Mario Kart sequel. No, I would be amazed if Nintendo broke with a long standing tradition and released a second Mario Kart for the same platform. DS releases are generally strong so they don't need to prop up the market with another one.

I doubt they would release another MKDS, they've always released one Mario Kart per system since the series began on the SNES.cronomagus36Nintendo and Namco released Two Mario Karts in the Arcades last gen. But yeah Arcades are different then Consoles and Handhelds.

Two reasons why they won't:
1. Tradition: One per system.
2. Mario Kart DS is selling like hot cakes STILL, regardless of it's 4 year old age. Why would they release another one and kill the sales?
