Even Sega Genesis? That would be dope.

SNES? possibly, since we are getting NES games. but anything else that is not a portable, highly unlikely.
there are not releasing a lot of nintendo games just the 10 games that will make after that they have no plans on making any moreSNES? possibly, since we are getting NES games. but anything else that is not a portable, highly unlikely.

no plans, things can change. Just saying.

with nintendo its unlikely they hardly change there minds just like most gaming companysI'd say it's pretty likely that we'll be getting some SNES games. More likely in the form of the "3D Classics" brand, but hopefully we'll get straight ports too.

with nintendo its unlikely they hardly change there minds just like most gaming companys they could easily start with 10 NES titles and decide to keep adding more to that. They have no plans now maybe, but I'm sure there looking into it and if you have 10, you might as well add more. As for SNES or Sega Genesis it is possible, they have GBA which is more powerful then SNES and the Wii had both SNES and Genesis in the Virtual console, but we'll have to wait and see. I think that they're focusing on more handheld systems on the Virtual Console. Unfourtunately that leaves far less games (well atleast popular games) then if they included home consoles, so they'll probably end up including some home consoles. I wish there was N64 games in the Virtual console like the Wii, but it's unlikely since were getting a lot of N64 remakes, so having an emulator when lots of games remade, and you'll end up having a Super Mario 64 DS, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, Star Fox 64 3D and likely a Majoras Mask 3D.Gotta admit that would be pretty awesome.Kaze_no_MiraiIt would be awesome. And at the same time I should be giving Nintendo a lot more **bleep** for not being able to pull something like that together. it's 2011, not 2004, online is more than an afterthought peripheral now, Sony and Microsoft have been doing the universal login thing for years. Even Apple allows you to easily download paid apps on more than one device using the same ID.
I want SNES games. It would be perfect to play SNES games on here. I don't have a classic controller for my Wii, and have grown accustomed to not having wires, thus the prospect of having to use a GC controller to play SNES games is unappealing.
The GBA ports are almost all inferior to the SNES originals, though - the Donkey Kong Country games in particular. And the Mario games are decent enough ports save for added character voices (for the Mario purists). I mean, they're better than nothing, but still.if it can do the gba games it for sure could do the snes and that would be great but a large amount of good snes games were ported to gba so I'm not too worried. Personally I think they should offer everything the system could hold even gc if possible.

Knowing Nintendo, who knows, but it's more than feasible to run SNES games on the 3DS (the DS could do it). Ideally they'd have done a universal login sort of deal with Club Nintendo accounts - so you could redownload SNES games you purchased on the Wii, kind of like how PS1 Classics work with the PS3 and PSP. But that's asking an awful lot of NIntendo.DJ_Lae
I'm pretty sure they are trying to do that with the Club Nintendo accounts so people can transfer the items purchased on WiiWare to the Wii-U.
[QUOTE="Gamingclone"]there are not releasing a lot of nintendo games just the 10 games that will make after that they have no plans on making any more um they already released 2 nes games on the 3d section so dont even start with that line cause u know they will and genesis-not gonna happen but gamegear isSNES? possibly, since we are getting NES games. but anything else that is not a portable, highly unlikely.
