I've been a decent Sonic fan, not a huge one like my friend, who still seems to enjoy all of the 3D games they come out with with the exception of SHadow, but I'm kind of pulling for it to be good. ANything remotely close to the Genesis days, or even to the Sonic Adventure days. Don't know about critics, but I really liked that game. I've never been a huge SSX fan, I really liked Tricky, but I haven't played any since then. I'll see how good they are reviewed and maybe rent, but I won't buy until I'm sure they are a good purchase.

Sonic, yes. Looks like the first great one since...well...since the Saturn? Blur, maybe. I'm rather looking forward to Heatseeker, instead

I don't think Heatseeker is looking very good. Blur looks way better IMO.

I've had Blur pre-ordered for almost a month. SSX games have always been really good and this one looks to be one of the best. I may decide to get Sonic if it get's good reviews but so far 3-D Sonic hasn't translated well.

I'll get Blur. I'll only get Sonic if the reviews are very good. So far, I have not played one 3-D Sonic game to date.

Neither. The ONLY Sonic game I EVER liked was Sonic Adventure 2 for the gamecube. i really dont like Sonic. Mario is better.

I don't think Heatseeker is looking very good. Blur looks way better IMO.

Heatseeker looks like it will be a blast, however its not coming out until the end of April. I will probaly end up getting both, I'll get Sonic first in a few weeks. You people put too much stock into reviews you should know whether or not you will like the game from what has been seen, not from what someone else says.

Sonic unless the reviews are terrible. if the reviews are still mediocre i'll at least rent it out of respect for sonic. dont know about ssx...to be honest it looks like a step back in terms of presentation...we'll see.

Really? I mean, I agree that Mario is better, but have you ever played Sonic 1 through 3+Knuckles? Those are some of the best 16-bit platformers ever made! Anyway, I'm more excited about Sonic, but SSX has the track-record to back it up. I won't buy either one at first, though. Stupid education system, holding my paycheck. . . .

I played SSX 3 couple of years back and to be simple... while seem as if it was "technically" sound, I did not care about it...not my kind of game...and in all likely hood...SSX Blur looks to be similar vain, minus change in the control type...which...is not enough of change, for my liking...

Besides, to be honest, I am not fan of sports titles, so, regardless of all of that other stuff, I would still probably would be "no" on SSX Blur....

In regards to Sonic and the Secret Rings, as others have mentioned, for my own liking, reviews, whether they be positive or negative, is what will make or break my decision...

lol, mine too. when's your birthday? Mine's the 24th if this month. Also, I'm thinking about buying Sonic out of sympathy for Sega, but I'll probably just rent it. Besides, It looks like an alright game.

Why do you people rely on reviews to find out if a game is good or not,?? why let other people decide what games you play??, does someone else choose the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the color of your hair, the way you speak, when you go to bed, when you wake up?? Reviews are just what these people think of the game, it's not what YOU think of it, so I'd say rent these games THEN read the reviews.
