will you buy this titles? ppl say that wii doesnt get enough M rated games, so what will you do? are y ou going to not buy them and let this kind of support die down?
All three of those games are so shallow. Scarface and the godfather are poor imatations of GTA and the only redeaming quality about them is the motion sensing. which at the end of the day isnt all that great. so no i wont.
Manhunt will be interesting though. if the sequel is any like the original it will be horrible. but if they do something better than just making manhunt 1.5 it will be good. manhunt was so repetetive and had so much mindless violence i couldnt stand it. at least in gta it actually fits manhunt it seemed forced and the graphics just made it unattractive.
Probably not any of them, but if all did extremely well....I'd have to go with manhunt 2. I rather see some more new original exclusive m rated game franchises created for the Wii.
i am very glad nintendo has goten some mature games. if they want to sell to every they need a good amount of m games if they have any hope of out selling the 360.
Manhunt i played for hours upon hours on Xbox. Ya okay i have a sick mind, but it was damn fun in it's sadistic ways! Scarface/godfather i might buy. I only want one of the two so i'll wait for the reviews to choose one. But Manhunt on Wii made my dreams come true. Can't wait to kill some hunters with the Wiimote!
i, most likely, wont get either of them, though its great to see the wii have this support and to break free from the shackles of the "kiddy" image that nintendo has. hopefully these games sell well and we see a GTA game on wii. we can only hope
I'm buying the godfather and munhunt but I will pass Scarface. Specially because the guy who worked on that game said ugly stuff about the wii and it's graphics (check the gametrailer bonus round) so screw him and his game!
Only way I would buy either Scarface or Godfather is if it actually offers some new content. If its nothing more than a straight port with tacked on controls, I'll pass. I'm not going to pay full price for a game with only tacked on controls when I can buy the same game a lot cheaper on the PS2 or Xbox.
As for Manhunt, I'll wait and see how the game turns out. I have a feeling it might not turn out well since its being developed separately from the PS2/PSP version. I have a suspicion that it may be the Burnout DS/PSP situation all over again where the A team worked on the PSP version while the D team worked on the DS version.
well, i'm watching all3 closely.. i really can see these games being a lot of fun on Wii. More so then on 360. The Wiimote can make these games 10 times more immersive. As long as the graphics are acceptable (meaning better than PS2...), i'm fine
Neither Scarface nor Godfather, but I'm curious bout Manhunt 2. Might turn out to be a heck of a game...I felt Manhunt and Wii would be a perfect match when the later was still called Revolution, so you bet I'll take a close look at that one^^

You'll have to wait for PS2 support to die first and Sony have a good reputation for supporting its outdated systems. Unless PSP ports start happening god forbid.
Out of those three i think Manhunt 2 seems like it would be interesting. I hope they do a good job with it. But i am not really psyched for any of them...

what is that? Its made by Suda 51, the company who made Killer 7. It will be an open world like GTA where you take on missions, and try to work your way up the ranks as an assassin, look it up over on IGN.
I'm not going to buy last gen ports for the Wii. What kind of message do you think developers are getting when PS2 games ported to Wii are selling well? They need to stop this and just make EXCLUSIVE games for the Wii, not wasting their time just adding motion sensing to last gen crap.
