If so, what are your reasons? The games? The new features available in the system? ^_^

Yes I will buy the 3DS no matter how much it costs, not that it will cost that much being a Nintendo device. If so, what are your reasons? The games? The new features available in the system? ^_^

My reasons: Well, it's a new system and it will have new and great Nintendo games that will use the new technology for better gameplay and immersion.
I guess the same reasons you'd have for buying any new system really... duh :|

Its from Nintendo so I will buy it or sure. If the price was over 300 I would have to consider it first
Yes. And I will do so for a couple of reasons: 1. I'm Australian and therefore used to paying high prices for any gaming-related device. But, seeing as I could import one from the US it'll be pretty much always cheaper than picking one up locally. 2. I own a website about the Nintendo 3DS, and will need to review games etc. :-)If so, what are your reasons? The games? The new features available in the system? ^_^

If it is more than $250 I will wait for a price drop. I have no intention paying more than $250 for a handheld system. Heck I wasn't too keen on the fact the I paid $300 bucks for a PS3 and 360.
If it costs more than $250 then I might wait for 3DS Lite (You know theres going to be one :P) or a price drop.
300$ or more, and I would really have to think about it. The magic number is 200$. I'll settle with 250$ or 275$. 300$ is really really pushing it.

$200 is my sweet spot for the 3DS. If it's that price I will probably get it. $250 or higher and I really have to think about getting it
I will wait until its $200 or less. Besides pokemon blakc and white are coming out for the ds so wouldnt it be a while before a 3ds pokemon game?
Yes, but hopefully it will be on day one no matter what. I would almost prefer it to be 250 so I can expect some awesome tech. wether its 100 or 300 I will buy it.
I'll be buying it. I'll probably go up to about £200 GBP, but I'm hoping it'll be between £150-180. The fact America will no doubt get it much cheaper than the UK will irritate me for a while, but knowing what people from other parts of the world are likely to have to pay will make me feel a bit better. :P
Definitely want to get it though, on day one if possible, as I love the DS and have been hoping they'd release a more powerful handheld for a while. I'm not sure if the 3D is even gonna work on me as I have astigmatism in one eye but hopefully with specs on I should be able to see it, but even if not, 3D wasn't on my wish-list for the next Nintendo handheld.
Main reasons for wanting one would be the improved power and graphics, bigger top screen, improved online functionality (don't know many details, but if I can play cartridge-based games online without weakening my router security, disconnecting every computer in the house in the process, then thats a huge improvement on the old DS) and the impressive list of games they've announced.
With the Wii I was having to pick between novelty minigame collections, Red Steel and Zelda (which I quite like, but I'm not a huge fan), stupidly chose Red Steel instead of Zelda and got Monkey Ball: BB (which in fairness, I liked), there are quite a few games on the 3DS already that interest me, though I'll obviously need to see more details of them.
Nah, I'll probably wait for a price drop or if Gamestop have a trade in deal or something for it I'll probably get it.
250 is my top of price if its like 10 or 20 over i might pay for it. Im very impresses in there line of games coming out for it first then the fact you can play NES on it in 3D
heck i might even pay a higher price to import it from Japan if it is region free and comes out there this year and we have to wait till next year. heh.
Personally i might be willing to pay 400 bucks to get one before christmas (that includes shipping price though) Because i want one bad as it looks so cool!
i am hoping however that it wont be but 200 to 250 bucks and come out in the US before christmas so that i will not have to spend a ton to get it!
but i would be willing to pay more then it costs to have it by chirstmas for sure! I normally woudnt do that for game systems, in fact it would be my first nintendo system in 15 years but theres just something about the 3DS that makes it exciting to like Nintendo again!
I do care about the cost of it, but I always found Nintendo to have reasonably priced products, so that's not my big concern since I won't be buying it at launch anyway. I'll buy it because of the impressive software line-up they have thus far and I'm sure it'll only get better with time.
As long as the machine is a thousand dollars or less I'll buy it the first day it'll come out.
Reasons?
My DS Lite's hinge is broken, both shoulder buttons are broken, the games freeze every 10 minutes and you have to turn the machine off and back on, you have to blow into the cartridge slot before entering a game, and lastly, it doesn't even turn on usually!
That's one of the reasons I'm getting a 3DS, the others are because of the 3D top screen, the 3D camera, remakes of N64 games, slide pad will make 3D platformers easier, (but side scrollers harder), and bigger screens.
I would have to wait for the 3ds lite then I could buy a used 3ds phat for 100$ or less 8)
More patience you have with electronics...the more money breaking deals you'll get...heck though I wasn't too thrilled about my ds lite...I play more GBA games on it than I do ds games lol. Idk if it is just me...but buying a new console at launch is just a waste of money in my humble opinion..just wait another year and it will drop plus used ones...I love my ps3 and all...but tbh 300$ for it is still pushing it...let alone its 600$ launch tag...seriously what people will pay for the first system of next generation amazes me...There will always be newer systems of the same thing but better features and handling etc. but will cost less. (example...ps3 launch system compared to ps3 slim)
But not many people seem to get that
