The artstyle of windwaker + 3d seems like an even better fit than ocerina.. anyone think there is a chance of this happening? Can the 3ds even put out these graphics (how hard is cel shading to process?) Make it happen Nintendo!

I could happen but would be rather pointless. Ninty need to concentrate on creating new games instead of recycling old ones.
I would rather have a new 3D cell shaded Zelda, same art style but just a different story and setting... But man I loved those WW graphics, and in 3D would be beyond epic.F0urTwentyI believe at least the graphics would work as the simplistic textures would be easy on the eyes, and pop more out of the screen
It is possible but I don't see why? I honestly can't think of any DS features it can use (unless you want to huff and puff your boat around the Great Sea...) and Wind Waker doesn't really need a remake? I feel like remakes are for graphic purposes and additional features which Wind Waker does not need/the Zelda franchise doesn't have.
The devs already said they're making a new Zelda for the 3DS, then they'll probably make Majora's Mask after that, so It's unlikely anytime soon. I wouldn't mind a remake of that one. It's one of the few Zelda games I haven't played.
It's pointless....
We'd be better of a VC vesrion of it on Wii U.

I agree. 16:9@1080p w/3D support.
I'd prefer a Skyward Sword graphics. They are a mix of both the dark more real look of Twilight Princess and the colorful world of Windwaker. Windwaker was just too cartoony and I just didn't like it. I would prefer if they had a brand new artstyle kind of like Twilight Princess but better textures and takes advantage of the 3DS's incredible shaders. FPS1337
I don't think you've actually played Wind Waker if your reason is you didn't like the graphics... The cartoony graphics weren't just laziness; they really made the game to be it's best. To be honest, "Toon" Link is my favorite because he has so much more personality than all of the others combined.
PS you should really play Wind Waker
PSS The Twilight Princess graphics were pretty ugly and brown imo
Your missing out terribly! The devs already said they're making a new Zelda for the 3DS, then they'll probably make Majora's Mask after that, so It's unlikely anytime soon. I wouldn't mind a remake of that one. It's one of the few Zelda games I haven't played.

I hope not. I really hated that game. Plus, Nintendo should focus more on a new Zelda. If they do another remake, I'd rather see Majora's Mask or A Link to the Past instead.

how
how could you hate this game
look at his face
look at it
how could you
Because my overbearing depression forces me to hate anything that looks cute and cuddly.
But seriously, I don't mind the graphics at all. It's the gameplay that I dislike. I probably would have taken more of a liking to it if that Ocean wasn't so huge and empty, which didn't help the immense bordom of searching for Triforce pieces, maps, and yet more treasure to desipher the maps. The dungeons weren't very challenging for me, even though some had very creative designs. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

It sounds like you never got the power of warping with the Gales.
Wind Waker is actually my favorite among all of the Zelda games I've played so i doubt I will ever really understand your reasons.
