i think it would promote the wii more and more people would be interested. and bsides by giving out wii points like a small amount then peolpe might end up buying games they probably wouldnt have paid for on virtual console and thus promoting games on virtual console

They could maybe have channels that you have to unlock by getting points from games:

Ex) The Mii Channel (Forgot the name); if you get a 6000+ rating in Mario Kart online or getting 30 stars in Mario Galaxy.

Idk, thats the only way i could think it would work. You wouldnt be able to buy VC games with them.
