Who do you prefer? Wolf Link or Amaterasu? I'm just curious, since I already finished Twilight Princess, and I just bought Okami. So is it going to be a wolf form of The Hero of Time, or the sun goddess known as Okami Amaterasu?

I'm being bias when I say Wolf Link all the way because I'm a hardcore Zelda fan but it seems pretty shady that Amaterasu appears after Twilight Princess. Throw an imp on his back and its the same character!everlong12

The release date for Okami was April 20, 2006.
The release date for Twilight Princess was November 19, 2006.

Yeah, Okami was originally released for the PS2, until ReadyAtDawn Studios ported it to the Wii, 2 years later. Correct me if I'm wrong in this post, because I tend to be wrong a lot :PThe Wii release date for Okami came after Twilight Princess. At least I think so. Okami was out for the PS2 before Twilight Princess was out for the Wii/GC.Archangel_2309
Well yeah, but it's only the first release date that matters in this case; they didn't exactly change it to add a wolf after Twilight Princess came out.
Anyways, with regards to the question at hand... tough choice; I suppose Ameterasu, although you got Midna with Wolf Link and Midna was one of my favorite characters ever. (Until they
made her all boring in the ending
that is.)
Wolf Link, because I own Twilight Princess (I actually like it), but I've never even played Okami.
BTW, hi Spade.
GG Nintendo? Similar, but not the same. They both have wolves that attack stuff. That's about where the similarity stops from what I've seen. Considering I've never played Okami though, I probably wouldn't be the best person to consult.Archangel_2309
Well, actually, the gameplay in Okami and in Twilight Princess (or, really, most any Zelda) is surprisingly similar. I think it's evident that Okami took at least some of its cues from Zelda (although I sincerely doubt the addition of a wolf was one of them).
Amaterasu, since she's from the superior game of the two.Zwei_ThanatosThis. Okami is a fair bit better than Twilight Princess, and not nearly as tedious.
I liked Okami better than Twilight Princess, and ammy has a lot more character to her than Link (wolf or not).
And the chief designers of clover studios said in an interview that they got a lot of inspiration from the Zelda games. As a side note I found the game easier than LoZ:TP but the story, music, and sheer artistry is what got me hooked.
GO BUY AND APPRECIATE OKAMI!!!
they would both mate and create one awesome wolf :PChojutoLOL Amaterasu has an unfair advantage. She's a god! Link is just a man... Yeah, but Link is a LEGENDARY man.

Yeah, but Link is a LEGENDARY man. Where would this LEGENDARY man be without the power of the Gods/Goddesses? Nagi himself is LEGENDARY because of Amaterasu.
