so i play my wii reguarly, always put the disks back in there case (never leave them in the console while not in use) and i try to keep my play area dust free. But there is one somewhat large scratch on my copy of Zelda: TP. No one else in my house plays my wii and i always keep it in the case. Is there an explanation for this? is it the wii or something else? The flap for the disk drive is somewhat dusty but its not terrible. Also are there any good shooters beside red steel? I don't wanna drop the 40-50 on it and have it go on sale. Also is excitetruck worth it?

thanks a bunch

The only scratches on any of my games are all small ones on WiiSports...but that was because of the flimsy packaging it came in. No problems otherwise...maybe your game got scratched by something else? Also, I snagged Excite Truck on launch, and definitely don't regret it. The multiplayer isn't the best, but overall the game is awesome and really fun. It reminds me of F-Zero GX in that the single player is really challenging at times, but always entertaining.

You probably scratched the disk putting it away in the case, maybe without realizing it you slid it over the case and caused the scratch.  No biggy as long as the game still works.

Is Excite Truck worth the money? I would say no. Is it a fun game? Yes. For a while. The multi-player could've been a lot better, online would rock and it just needs more value. I borrowed the game from a friend and unlocked everything in 3 days. I don't want to play the game anymore, and I doubt I ever will.

I didnt like Red Steel, I would spend 20 bucks on it though.  Excite Truck is awesome, its a great challenge, and as for scratches, havent had a prob, it could just be one of those overlooked things, or Robert Goulet is messing with your stuff, try eating some Emerald Nuts
