Worth getting a ds for pokemon pearl/diamond?

Well ive always been a fan of the pokemon games unfortuanally i dont own a ds. I got 2 choices psp or ds..

But is pokemon alone worth getting a ds for? u may call me childish but catching training and fighting pokemon are so much fun, i simply love it. And i heard u can fight online vs other people and even trade pokemon online!

So is diamond/pearl as good as the other pokemon games?

I would say go with the DS and not the PSP. I've had a PSP for 4 years now and it probably has less that 15 hours of gameplay on it. I have a DS and I love it more than my 360 (Crazy? yes). I think Pokemon is a great game and I will buy it once I get the chance and $35. Make sure to get a Lite and not a Phat. Plus, if you don't have a GBA this is your opportunity to play some GBA games as well. Also, the DS is more friend orientated. Yourself and 3 other friends, each with DS's, can have hours of fun playing Mario Party and other games. Also Pokemon would be good because you can duel online. So ya, go with the DS.

yes get pokemon and plus if you want both systems pokemon and a ds is 180 and ye will stillhave money left over

you shouldn't get the ds for the sole reason of getting diamond/pearl because it sucked balls but still get the DS because there is alot of better games then pokemon.

Yeah games like zelda, mario kart and so on are awesome as well. Thanks guys uve helped me alot. I guess i will buy a ds lite white or black. Ds seemse more fun then the psp to be honest.

That's mainly what I got mine for though I love playing Castlevania and Final Fantasty games on it just as much.
