Worth getting pokemon black or white the 3ds or not?

Hey everyone I will be getting a 3ds very soon on launch day and just wondering is it worth getting pokemon black and white or just waiting for a new 3ds pokemon game . please post your thoughts .

I was wondering the same thing. Had never owned a Pokemon before and i knew i would probably only ever play one of them (i like variation in my library and pokemon is still at its core a pretty standard RPG)

I got Pokemon Black and not regretting it. Though i probably wouldn't get a 3DS pokemon game as it would be too much of the same, too soon, for me personally.

I recommend Pokemon Black & White. They're both great games.

I would HIGHLY recommend getting Pokemon Black/White! I wouldn't count on there being a 3DS Pokemon just yet, at least for a while, and it may or not be a game in the main series. Call me crazy but if you're getting a 3DS at (or near) launch, Black/White would be better than a number of the launch titles available. ;)

playing through pokemon white atm and i'm loving it.As everyones said get pokemon right away..you'll love it.Almost everyone does.

I'm thinking ya, its a pretty good deal.

Personally, i dont realy like that many of the new pokemon, i dont like any of the new characters, and the story is very whack, but the presentation and the fact that there is a more story driven experience is pretty damn neat.

The presentation is definitely a step up with the 3D approach, but at the same time, i felt like they took a couple small steps back (was this game made before heartgold? I mean, seriously, they require you to press the x button to access the menu and hold b to run again... those arent that big of a deal but i feel like they took a step back in the User interface area... especially the battle screen where the second screen is som ugly jaggie pokeball).

As a Gen I and II guy, I say get Black and White. Better than III and IV by a LONG shot.
