Would anyone be intrested in a FPS using miis?

I was thinking about how to do the most dirt simple shooter on the wii. I was thinking about a FPS that even grandma could play. So here's my idea.

Title: Wii War (or Wii kill, Wii Shoot...)

Platform: Wii Ware

Controls: (wiimote only, fully customizable) B shoots, d-pad moves, A is action button, + & - toggle weapons, pointer aims/looks around. Jumping and climbing is automated like in zelda.

Gameplay: No story, just death matches. With the game being wiiware, 100% of the players are online. Players play with their mii's and run around simple maps with lots of cover and hiding places. E rating, so no blood. Online matchups are done just like mario kart wii, can be worldwide, regional, or friends. 4-player split screen is available too.

The action button: The A button is your action button. It's contextual like in gears of war. Hold A to run forward (no d-pad needed). If you're standing behind cover, press it to grab cover and press it again to un-grab cover. (While behind cover, left and right will crawl, up will go into sight mode, and down will hide). If you're standing next to a ladder, press A to climb it. If you're standing next to a door, press A to open it. If you're standing over a weapon, press A to pick it up....and so on.

With a $10 price tag, would you be interested in a super casual simple brainless shooter?

It could be real guns (well, not REAL, but real like). Just when you shoot someone it would only knock them down or out. Or maybe just an explosion, or maybe they just disappear? No blood, no gore.

look at wii play's tank battle. pop pop pop...boom!

Playing an FPS where everyone has big head mode activated would be the worst idea ever.

Not even broadband connections could withstand the number of headshots in each round.

You might as well title this game "Destroy Nintendo's online," because that's exactly what would happen.

I'd buy it so I could shoot Bush in the face. :)

Haha. I'd redownload the Check Mii Out Channel so I could get a Bush and a Hitler Mii for this game.

Sounds cool, my alterations would be,

Include the nunchuck only for the joystick as the wiimote is not easy when you are trying to use A, B, and the D - Pad,

I would only buy it if it was extremely gory and body parts could be shot off. That would be fun! :D

I thought about it some more. We could call it: Wii War.

Everyone would use nerf guns. You would start off with a sling shot that shot foam balls, and could grab weapons like sniper rifles or shot guns that shot nerf bullets with the little suction cups on the ends.

Shoot somebody enough times and they fall down, their eyes turn into X's, and little stars or tweety birds float around their head. The person that knocked them out gets a point. After a bit, the player wakes back up and continues playing. Once the time runs out, person with the most points wins.

Your control scheme is good but it needs the nunchuck to move(MUCH easier)

I think death match could be an option, but CTF or even team death match are much funner. You don't have to make it anything super complicated.

But, like other people, I think it'd be awesome if you kicked family friendly to the curb. Over the top gory, would really make the game.
