Would games like Mario party and strikers do good if the characters in them ...

were original and not mario characters. Id have to say no because those characters make up the whole thing.

I doubt it as well. I't probably wouldn't appeal to as many people since mario isn't on the cover.

No. Strikers without the ninty crew would be as bad as sega soccer slam *shudders* Mario party would be alright i guess as it's more about who your playing with rather than who you'll playing as.
