Would this be what a mature Pokemon game would look like?

A friend of mine posted this link on my Facebook page (sorry I do not know how to make a clicky link) and I thought I would share it with the Pokemon fans here. I prefer the cuter and kid friendlier versions but I wonder if this is what a mature looking Pokemon game might look like:

If by "mature" you mean "super duper creepy", then yes.

I've seen quite a lot of those pictures on a few sites.

I like some of them more than the real ones, my favorites out of those ones are Alakazam, lickitung and Mr. Mime. The ones I like least are Bulbasaur, Poliwrath and Charmander.

Mr. Mime is ******! That is some seriously disturbing stuff.

I've always thought what I'd want in a mature Pokemon game, and I've pretty much decided that I think a mature Pokemon game should just be normal Pokemon without the child-friendly filter on it. Let it be Pokemon, but have some crime and death and tragedy and sexual themes. Also, make the main character older than 12. I still don't understand that.

Or don't even go that far. Just embrace exactly how messed up the Pokemon world is.

When I heard mature pokemon, I thought of a game where the characters is older than 18, death and crime happens, pokemon can die, there is sexual content. I didnt think of super creepy pokemon that would probably scare off a good bit of the solid pokemon fan base (yes I am talking about the adults in the fanbase).

Isn't Mature Pokemon equal Shin Megami Tensei basically?

IMO, that's what a mature Pokemon horror game would look like.

The game can still be mature if they kept their old lovable look. Conker's Bad Fur Day is a good example of a mature title with adorable characters. Or Happy Tree Friends (even though its not a game).

That's... disturbing. And that's coming from somebody who sees dark Pokemon redesigns on a regular basis so I'd say these take the cake. o.o

Poliwrath was particularly disturbing in my opinion. Pikachu was remarkably believable. And what was that bone headed fellow's name? Evolved into Marowak? It was pretty awesome.El_Zo1212o
