What kind of question is that? OF COURSE I WOULD!!!! I never heard of Earthbound until I saw Ness, and after hearing and reading about so much of what the game does, I'm extremely interested in playing this game :D
hmm...considering Earthbound was a SOOOPER sweet game, and definately at least my 2nd or 1st favorite game on SNES.......HELL YEA! btw, I was pissed when I learned that Mother 3 was only comin out in Japan.
So everybody would buy it... and i am sure casuals will too after ness and lucas in brawl. A question comes to mind though, after melee, nintendo started localizing the fire emblem games here but how come not Mother/Earthbound?

and I think nintendo still could not recover from what happend to Earthbound what it was sent in the U.S.

i am pretty sure the game would have sold better if they came up with a better slogan than "This Game Stinks" and the commercial actually showed combat...

Can't say I would do that. I really don't like metallica and don't know much about Celine Dion but I bet it would be close. But I would say Hell Yes to Earthbound collection for 50 bucks even if they made the graphics worse as long as it was in english and legal.
Only if they were affordable titles. Otherwise, I always try and play the games on their original system or the closest to it. It might crash the price from the originals though, so that would be nice. I could shove that into the face of the arrogant CBG clerk over at the used game store, that has been mocking everyone with his copies of the game..
No, If the series had come out over here when it was actually first released I would have been interested in playing it, after such a long time I have lost any interest I once had in trying the series.
absolutely! earthbound was an awesome game and so were the other two games in the series. hopefully they are smart enough to release a compilation, but i doubt it.
whoa, talk about revival. it was revived, and then every 5 days it was re-revived, in an attempt to keep it around. anyway, it's a series i've always wanted to try out, so yes. even though i'm 150% sure it'll never happen.
I never had a chance to play Earthbound back then. Only recently finished playing Mother 3 in fan-translated form. To put it rather bluntly, I would absolutely go for this game without a second thought. I now have the urge to go and play the original - if nothing else - to get a better grasph on the story, and to better appreciate how it all started.
An actual official english release would be awesome. The fan ones are awesome, don't get me wrong, but an updated package of 1-3 would be $$$ for Nintendo. Why they have failed to realize this over the years is beyond many.
