Would you buy the black colored Wii system if it were to release in the west?

Now, I love the white Wii system, but the black would match very nicely with my home entertainment system, because my TV, PS3, 360, and PC are all black. I'd really like Nintendo to release this in the states. They've shown that they like releasing new colors for their consoles, which can be seen during the N64, GCN, GB, and DS eras. Do you think they'll release this here, just not as a bundle, and maybe by the end of this year? And if they do, will you get it? Or just stick with the white?

No because of my VC and Wiiware games but the black C lassic controller pro looks very cool.

the black color makes the wii and the controllers look way too glossy for my tastes. white is better. i mean, even wii games' boxes are white-themed.

If Nintendo would release black wii in europe I`d get it for sure.

i have to admit that looks like a bad @$$ wii and its sweet but im not spending another 250 to get it plus all my wiiwar and VC games will be lost

If they would give me a 1:1 trade in on my white on for it and the remotes, and allow me to transfer all my VC stuff, then yes.

Nope. If I wanted to change color on my system, I would've done it already. There are many online websites that sell Skins and Cases for the Wii for waaaayyyyyyyyyy cheaper and look waaaayyyyyyyyy better IMO and you're at risk of losing none of your info, save files, vc games ets that way (You may void your warranty for the chrome one though but my warranty is already up anyway so it doesn't matter). I would prefer the Mirror Chrome Wii anyway see:

i wouldn't buy a new one, but if i really wanted it black i would buy this since it's pretty cheap and it's easier to put together than you think.

The only way I'd buy a black one is if my current one breaks. Which I really hope doesn't happen.

However, if they were to release the black Wii remotes in the U.S., I'd probably buy one.

I already have a White Wii but I might buy a Black Wii Remote when they come over or if they ever come out with the Green controllers I will buy that with a Black Nunchuk and a White Wii Motion Plus. I want my controller to be different so nobody uses it. I know it would look weird but Green, Black, and White look good together.

Ahh, as much as i want one, I already have a white model.

If this had come out at launch which I originally thought it would, I would have gotten a black one, however I'm not going to buy another Wii for a color change, that would be a waste of money. I would get a black Wiimote and Classic Controller though. Sepewrath

I agree, it looks awesome. It kind of reminds me of the special edition Game Boy Micro released in Japan that looked like the Famicom (or NES as it's known as here in the U.S.).

I'll lose all my data and 250 dollars. I'll just buy something from Decalgirl.
