As Nintendo have said they are considering charging for some online games that made me think if of FFXI as this is a MMORPG which you get charged for. Now considering that Pokemon would be quite a excellent MMORPG would you consider in playing something like this? I want to the Pokemon games to do exactly like the Pokemon and evolve into something new and this is the only way i can see the series becoming a totally next generation experience. Views wanted please.

Definitely, it'd be awesome. I'm sick of the spin-off Pokemon games that consoles always get. If Nintendo does plan to make a few big games with pay-to-play, I hope they'll make one along with Animal Crossing which is likely to be their first one.

Nah...MMOs aren't my thing, and I quit playing Pokemon after the Yellow version. I would buy a full on 3D RPG Pokemon if it ever came out on the Wii, though. I never liked the battle simulator games on the home consoles, and a complete Pokemon RPG on the Wii would actually get me to come back to the series.

They could even have some type of online adventure mode where you and a few friends group up and go from town to town capturing pokemon and battling other trainers. I guess that's MMOish, but if that was the core game, I wouldn't pay monthly for it. I prefere a meaty single player campaign in my games.

First of all this will never happen the Wii has inadequete space to store updates. This will make an mmog pretty much impossbible. Even if there was a pokemon mmog I woldn't play it. There would be too many young players.

i haven't really played a pokemon game in Emerald Green... and i haven't paid to play an online game since... ever... but yeah i'd prolly pay and play a Poke'MMORPG.... that is to say if you got to live an actual trainer adventure... and it would have to be really... immersive... i'd would have to mistake reality for a hightone colorful anime world... then i'd pay for it

Probably not. First of all, I woukd only play it if it was on the PC, having to play a MMORPG with a Wii-mote would be much too simple or much too hard, meaning they try to make the controls simple to fit with the remote (which will in turn make the actual game be simple as well), or they try to squeese in all a MMORPG should have onto the remote and make it too complicated. I would also only play it if they actually did something to make the batting system completely unique, or make it special and immersive. I might play it then if they do those two things.

Personally, I am waiting for just a 3D pokemon game on the Wii. Why are all the good pokemon games only available on Hand Helds? I wanna have my self a full fledged Pokemon adventure on my TV.

Playing? Yes. Paying? Depends. If it gets great reviews and is just supposed to be an all around great game, then maybe. I don't really think I'd want to pay for it though. It also depends on how much you'd be paying.

No I would not. I tried a pokemon game once and I still feel guilty for having fake animals have to fight each other while two on-lookers cheer them on... Michael Vick comes to mind every time someone reminds me of it.

IF nintendo wants a revolution they would get together with Gamefreak and Blizzard and make the ultimate MMO RPG. Its ridiculous they have not made this. Out of all the fantastical fan requests this has been the most adamant one throughout the years.

I have witnessed amazing things when I have mentioned the idea of a Pokemon MMO RPG. I mentioned it in the general chat in World of Warcraft in the city of Shattarah. I thought I was going to get flamed by most of the people because most people on there are complete fanboys to WoW. But to my surprise so many people sent whispers to me asking me where they could find the link to the info about it. To their dismay I had to remind them it was just an idea. My point is that I have never seen a fan request that made so much sense as making a Pokemon MMO and doing it on the level of WoW.

LOL that was a good one.

Anyway, i played the first two Pokemon games, red and blue, after that i played crystal and they were fine games, but after that i stop caring about Pokemon, now a MMORPG would be the next big thing for these franchise and i should check it if it is great (not good or average, but great)

If the game is good i would pay. Yes a pokemon mmorpg game would be awesome. That the only thing nintendo needs to make everyone like pokemon agian. There always messing up the seris when they put crappy console versions out it stupid.

Why don't they just put out a good version so everyone will be happy.

it would be a great idea. you could customize a trainer and run around towns, explore the lands of pokemon, battle friends, randoms and gym leaders and travel with friends catching pokemon. if they find a way to add voice to chat with your friends while playing, it could become one of the best pokemon experiences ever. i probably would pay to play that.

Ive been trying to get Nintendo started on this for years. Think about it that way they wont have to keep making games and just do an update on a system adding Pokemon every 4 or 5 years like the way they do now.

No, I'm not interested in any more Pokemon games. I had enough with Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Silver.
