I think I'd like to see an original 3D Mario game on the DS tbh. I thourght Mario 64 DS was brilliant and well suited to the DS, and therefore think a new title would be cool.
definitely a NSMB2. SM64DS was bad partly because the controls weren't as great as its N64 counterpart. Nothing against the DS itself, but running around a 3D world with a D-pad just doesn't work as well.
i'd rather get a 3d mario game on the ds. i really enjoye nsmb, and it was fun getting that old school gameplay back, but i want a big, rich adventure like mario 64 on the ds. i didnt buy mario 64 ds since i played the hell out of it on the n64, but i would def get another mario game on the ds if it were like mario 64.
New Super Mario Bros was far too easy and far to short, but id still buy the next one =P
I want a sequal to mario 64 though, or a game like galaxy. Crash of the titans had real good controls (much better then mario 64 ds) so it can be done without an anolgue.
id definitely rather have the new 3D remake theres been talk about, the images look fresh, they seem to be bringing back the tanooki suit from SMB3, looks great, NSMB for DS and Wii were fun, but they werent much of a challenge and got old fast, at least a new 3D game would bring different ideas and good gameplay
