Short game and no offense you like basicly killed it with the 100+ Hour one thats not fun.

Anyways, I'm more of a replay value person, where the game is easy to beat. That's why I'm a Smash addict. XD Peach all the way.

Agreed. Even though it's only a 19 level game, it has a high replay value with all the loopy things you can do with it. Wish it'd somehow be transfered to Wii so I could own it myself.

Your choices are.....dumb. Of coarse I'm going to pick "short and fun" because I want fun. But I also want a long game that's fun, but your choice is only "long and kind of fun". That sucks. Long games can be awesome, what about Zelda? Huh?

I like long games that are fun. You put the poll as if theres never been a good long game.

I dont care about the length of a game. I expect quality, and if it's short thats fine as long as it's well accesible and a great experience to game on.

There's no point in a long game if it drags on for hours. I'd rather have a short fun game with good replay value.

Obviously, this was made to see which of the extremes you would rather and not actually what kind of game you want. Of course if there was some middle option as something like "medium length and nearly all fun" everyone would just choose that.

Depends on the game, and the genre, but pretty much short and fun like Galaxy, 12 is great for a game like that, but what will keep us all coming back is co-op, 120 stars, that it is so much fun that you will replay it forever :D, Wiiconnect 24, and SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Luigi!!! ;)

It all depends. Is the game only 4 hours but it's the best 4 gaming hours I've ever played in my 22 years of life? Then yeah, THAT game is fun. Usually though, I'm mostly dissapointed with games that I beat the first day I buy it. So it's fun...5 hours later, I'm bored and $50 broker.

The only way a game that's 6 or 8 hours long can be really fun is if it has some sort of strong replay value, like multiplayer options, secrets to unlock, or different modes of play (and I'm not talking about Time Attack...I don't want to beat the game even quicker!!).

I prefere long games, ones that take days or even weeks to beat. Those are the ones that usually suck you in, at least to me.

Why isn't long and fun a choice? When I drop $50-$60 on a game, I want it to last. I don't want to hand over cash for something that's over in a matter of a couple hours! If I want 6 hours of fun, I'll rent 3 movies, and still have money left over for a nice dinner for two. Sure some games may provide an un-adulterated burst of enjoymentcondensced into an amazing5 hours, but not enough games truly achieve that to warrant such a move and end up being simply short, end of story.

More over, although there is an undeniable sense of pleasure and achievement in beating a game, I find that both are determined by both the difficulty AND the length of the game. The sense of satisfaction I got from beating Heavenly Sword was nothing compared to when I beat FFX because of the greater time investment.

How about between the 2 choices. I don't want a short game but I don't want a long game. I prefer to have like 30-40 hours of of pure fun. For me, short games are less than 30 hours. The long are over than 40 hours.

Long if buying it...short otherwise.

I'd hate to spend $60.00 on a 3 hour game that even if it was awesome I'd likely not play more than 3 times.

You're going to extremes here. I like extremely fun, but not extremely long games. 30-40 hours is a good amount for me. 100 is too much and the 6 hour games coming out now are too short for me. If it's 100 hours and not very fun nobody would want to play it. If it's 3 hours and extremely fun it'll be fun just because it is. You just need to add some more options to the poll to make it a credible poll.
