would you STILL prefer a handheld gaming device over a home console?

if you own a DS & PSP, are you contented with it even if you do not own a wii, ps3 or 360?

I own consoles, but my main focus all year has been the DS, and I've been perfectly happy with that.

Yes. In fact what bugs me is elements of handhelds games that try and emulate console game presentation. Take for instance LOZ:PH and Ouendan 2, OTO2 doesn't feel forced or odd on the DS and has amazing production values, whereas PH, although technically spectacular, it's console style attempt at presentation (unfortuntely I can define the term very well, so either you know what i mean or you don't) only highlights that it is a diluted version of a console game (though not gameplay wise since PH could only have been done on the DS, I am sure there are other games like this out there).

The real question is whether or not I'd be contented with a console, probably not.

I do a lot of gaming on the go, so a home system wouldn't really help me there. (I do own consoles, they just aren't played as often comparatively speaking)

I work 50-60 hours a week and do most of my gaming on my downtime at work so a console is no use to me at all.

I play only on handhelds. I have no time for playing on other consoles. Moreover I'm not interested in TV console's games anymore.

You need more than DS and PSP

At least a wii, 360 or ps3 (even a ps2)

Well, my first home console was a Wii and I've been growing up with handhelds since the Gameboy Color. I'm definitely a handheld gamer!

I own a 360, and can agree with that statement 100%. Since i've had my DS all my 360 has been doing is gathering dust Lol.

I have a DS Lite and a PC.

Sometime ago I stopped playing at all and thought my will to play games was decreasing. But it was before I get a DS. Now I'm a heavy DS player. I only don't know to tell you for shure if it's because handhelding.

I believe it's Handhelding + Nintendo = Fun Fun Fun Fun, on the go, on toilet, etc.

I own the DS lite and xbox 360 next week I'm getting the PS3. I really like all the consoles, mainly I use home consoles instead but if I really seesomething in the DS or the PSP I will focus on the game that I got in either hand held. But mainly I use the 360a lotmore then my DS. I like all console equally.

It's all about convenience, comfort, and accesibility. So my recent preference for PC and handhelds hinges on these sole reasons.

They're cheap, comforting, and easy to play whenever I want to.

Or maybe I'm just getting sick of consoles.

Yes I prefer Handhelds over consoles. I have a DS and will soon be getting a PSP. I have no plans on getting a console. My DS hardly ever leaves my house. I prefer to move around to different areas in my house during the day. A console would keep me in one location. Plus I like playing whenever I feel like playing and I would have to wait for others to get done with the TV to play a console. There are plenty of great DS and PSP game to keep me busy (more games than I can afford) so I have no need for a console.

for me, handhelds over consoles by far. the ability to play anywhere, no paying for online, fun, fast games that don't take a real long time to beat, having the option to go into "sleep" mode and continue right where you left off, it's all fantastic.

I grew up on handhelds, so I'd have to say those over consoles any day.
