I'd just get a skin. I really hope that a new Wii is not created like the DS Lite because I wont spend all that extra money to get it and then mine is considered obsolete. I still have my DS "Phat" and I actually think that I like the looks of it better. Anyone else?

I wouldn't because I like the one I have because most of the consoles I've owned where black, but i might get a Black one later because my parents want one because I don't really want them to play mine because I'm too busy playing it to let them play also when I start playing I can't stop playing.
:lol: Buy a whole new system for another color? No, I think I'm smarter than that.. If someone plans to do this, give the money to starving children instead if you like to throw money away.
I would buy a Black Wii with a DVD player, because the white is in our living room and I can't play it when the family is watching in the living room. And I don't have a DVD player in my room.
Don't care about color. If it had some kind of added feature, I may. I know I went from a GBA to GBA SP do to the backlit screen. I also went from the DS to DS Lite due to the brighter screens and better form factor. I don't care about the form factor of the Wii and there are no screens on it. So, I don't know what it would take to buy a new Wii.
If there isn't a way to play Wii Imports then I will buy a Japanese Wii and if they have different colors then I would get one in what ever other color they may have.
The only way I would buy a new one is if mine breaks. I still have that Fat PS2 I've had it for 4-5 years and still hasn't been broken and I still didn't drop it!!
There is no way I would buy a new one unless I am forced to (i.e. mine breaks). That would not only mean dropping another $250 but I would lose all of my VC purchases and that would suck.
I need another one for the bedroom, I'm going to wait for a black one though. I'm happy with white in the living room, it stands on the side of my center channel , opposite the 360 and ( aside from the 360's ridiculous size ) they compliment each other nicely.
