Yeah it's interesting but I found the SpiderBall video better. That morph ball mode Samus used to jump like 10 times across the gap was super cool at the beginning.
I don't think people will be complaining about the graphics after watching the Spiderball video. Even with the major video compression, the environment still looks awesome. It's huge but still very detailed.
I have to give Nintendo props.... I wasn't that excited about this game until the Metroid Channel came around.

Exactly, that one video disproves all this Xbox or even PS2 business.. The amount of detail is impressive, and even with thunder storms going on in the background...

I also thought that. I saw the video 2 times. The first time, I was wondering what the hell was that? The second time, I watch with my eyes and I saw it's similar to Mother Brain.
I remember Super Metroid and yes it was looking the same room you fought Mother Brain.

Oh and something to add. The Spiderball video, Oh my God. The Camera is just perfect, its really subtle in the way that it moves, as opposed to in earlier prime games where youd go to antoher area and the camera would switch, not it just slowly follows you.
Im eagerly anticipating playing this game on an HDTV for the first time, with component cables that ill be grabbing with this game.
Yeah, I think so too. The Spider Ball video was impressive too. Very clean, detailed visuals. Sky Town looks like that one dungeon in Twilight Princess, but just much better.
Can't wait till October 26th, there's a good chance Kraid will be back too if he was planned to be in Prime 1. Mother Brain, Kraid, Ridley and Dark Samus in the same game would make this easily the most epic Prime game, and a great conclusion to the trilogy.
Spiderball video shows that this game cannot be compared to any standard fps shooter because it clearly isn't one. That level design is simply exquisite, if the controls are sweet and the rest of the game is designed as metiqulously, then we have a masterpiece on our hands.
