I knew that Nintendo Australia had applyed and recived classification of Zelda II, but I wasn't expecting it to show up on the VC today, especially when the rest of the world has the SNES Zelda game and we here in Australia don't.

Come on Nintendo Australia give us the best 2D Zelda.

Nintendo Australia hates Australian Nintendo owners. I came to that conclusion many years ago when various games were not released.

lol well they did ban the first Manhunt.

They briefly banned Manhunt here in the states too and the only places that sold it, couldn't put displays up. I remembered renting it and was meh about it. Hopefully the sequel for the Wii will be better.

They banned Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure for promotion os the graffiti community, yet Jet Set Radio/Future were not banned. Seriously, in JSR/F you kill people by tagging on them, the whole game is centred around a tagging and turf war.

Nintendo has never made alot of money from Australians (post SNES era). Honestly, I think it'd be in their best interests to drop the region altogether.

Zelda II is a good game, and how can you say PAL support is terrible? we get several Wii games and Virtual Console games before USA. maybe they aren't in your taste, but that doesn't make PAL support terrible.

Zelda II is probably my second or third favourite Zelda!! Not as good as LttP, but it's a great game. Play it and don't be closed-minded. Platformer/RPG/Adveture combo = GOLD!
