I can't belive it it been 7 MOUTHS andno sigle wii. Not only that some stroe are tricking me saying they get a new shipment but they don't. I end up staying in the store for hours. Why is nintendo not making more wii. They get more money that way
Uh... what? They're making as many as they feasibly can, you'll just have to be an early bird to catch a shipment. You're wasting time complaining here.
I had to call my local gamestop store every day for a week at around 12 noon (when they get shipments). Got lucky yesterday and finally picked one up. :)
The Wiis were sold out within an hour, and I had to speed my way over to the store in order to pick one up, and hell, I think they only got a shipment of about 10.
I've seen 2 Wiis in stock since November, aside from when I got mine a week after launch. You just need to take some initiative to find one if you really want one.
There's plenty here in Scotland now was a good shortage for a while though. Chances are there's stock in regularly but people are just quicker off the mark than you friend don't give up.

I just got my Wii yesterday at Target and it was around 3:00pm and they had 4, I was very suprised. So later at around 6:00 I went to trade in my game cube and some games at EB, and they had 6 Wii's! It was either a lucky day or stores are starting to get them a lot more now.
I have only seen 1 Wii, ever! And it was at my friends house. So I would say, yes, there is a major shortage in U.S. I had enough saved one time, but I couldn't find one. I thought it was stupid to keep that money sitting in my room, since I could probably save up again by the time I could find one.

Where in Florida? I reserved and picked mine up on launch day but there's none to be seen on store shelves anywhere. My nephew up in Chicago managed to get lucky last month and was present in Wal-Mart when a shipment arrived. There's a few people I know here that are still looking. I don't get it. I still only have 2 games for it and its mind boggling on as to why they can't keep them in stock. 360s and PS3s on the other hand can be found easily anywhere.

One region every few months will get more shipments then the other region . They have to juggle the wiis in order to make sure the wii is supplied worldwide. Still selling very well in Euroland and demand will increase when some of the more anctipated games are shown to be out.

I just got mine yesterday2 and called everyday for a while untill ebgames finnaly had one, sucker
